Poster presentation guidelines

1. Poster Format

The recommended poster size is A1 (maximum), portrait mode. Please follow these guidelines when preparing your poster:

Each poster must include:

  • Title of the presentation.
  • Author information: Name(s) and institutional affiliation(s) of all authors, along with contact details.
  • Clearly defined sections: These may include Introduction, Methods, Results, and Conclusions, as appropriate to the topic.
  • Legible text: All text should be readable from a distance of approximately 1.5 metres. Ensure sufficient contrast between the text and background, taking into account that lighting in large poster-session rooms may be dim.

Recommended Font Sizes

  • Title: 78 pt (approximately 2 cm).
  • Headings and subheadings: 48 pt (approximately 1 cm).
  • Body text: 24 pt (approximately 0.6 cm).

2. Poster Printing

Presenters are responsible for printing their own posters and bringing them to the conference. The organisers will not print posters on behalf of presenters.
